Located in Carrigaholt village, overlooking the Shannon River on the stunning Loophead Peninsula, Keane’s is managed by our family to this day since the 1830s. It has been in the family for generations, and today its ran by Patrick & Margaret Keane and helped by their sons Shane & Emmett. We always take the time to chat with you to make you feel at home.

Loop Head is a stunningly beautiful place for cycling. The terraine is mostly flat and scenery is spectacular. There are many small villages to visit within reasonable distance from each other and plenty of places to stop for refreshments and food. The peninsula has beaches, cliffs, bogs, hills, and the Shannon estuary SAC. with a large variety of flora and fauna to be enjoyed.
